Less immediate than other Night Monitor projects but has a lot of stunning tracks and ultimately adds up to a darker experience that really manages to leave me mildly unsettled but raring to listen in full again to dig deeper. So I was a very young boy when these incidents happened, but I do remember them very clearly and perhaps my fascination with the occult (not so great when your family is catholic) began. This album just instantly bought me back 40 odd years or so. And I’m a small boy, wide eyed in morbidly fascinated horror as my parents yammer on about demons and satan worshippers. I can’t pick a stand out yet but suffice to say, since I discovered The Night Monitor each of the albums I have (4) are awesome. fenrisians-sweatshop
